Automatisering
Radio Crescendo draait volledig geautomatiseerd en werkt met formats. Dat betekent dat elk programma een eigen insteek heeft, maar de zender wel één geheel blijft.
In Crescendo Classics (dagelijks om 10.00 en 22.00 uur) hoor je bijvoorbeeld geen Top 40-tracks, wel twee nummers uit de jaren 60 en 70, en verder vooral muziek uit de jaren 80 en 90. Ook wordt er gefilterd op genre, zodat je nooit twee easy-listening nummers achter elkaar hoort.
In andere programma’s werkt dat weer anders. Zo hoor je in Maximaal 80 uitsluitend muziek uit de jaren 80. En op zaterdagavond draait The Party Playlist elk uur minstens tien dancetracks.
